This is of course Master Moulay Abdelaziz Alaoui Moudni, lawyer at the Marrakech Bar, approved by the Court of Cassation, member of the Marrakech Bar Council since the 1990s, holder of a license in Arabic law in 1977, practicing the profession since 1978, more than 40 years and president of the Marrakech-Safi Region Football League.
This veteran was also president for a certain time of the Majd and Nejm Marrakech teams and also a member of the Southern Football League (former name), during the time of the presidency of the late Abdeljabbar Boucetta.
This era, which we hardly forget, was marked by the dissolution of the bodies of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation following the bitter defeat of the national team in 1979 against its Algerian counterpart (1-5).
All fired up, he was for more than 35 years president of the Marrakech/Safi Region Football League under all its various names thanks to his distinguished skills, recognized throughout the Marrakech-Safi region.
Since the creation of this sporting institution, which is today the League of the Marrakech-Safi region, it has constantly changed premises or been expelled by the courts.
Behaving like a nomad, she had, along the way, taken up residence respectively in the Arset Lamaâch district, in the Kasbah district, in the El Harti garden, in Guéliz, rue Mohamed El Bequal and finally on avenue Moulay Rachid.
This homeless status has long constituted a serious handicap for the promotion of football in the Marrakech-Safi region.
Preaching austerity at the financial level, the president of this League, Alaoui Moudni was able to ultimately acquire brand new premises in the Semlalia district.
The amount of the transfer amounts to 1,650,000 dh.
Today, the Southern League has a headquarters.
It has become sedentary thanks to the laudable efforts of President Alaoui Moudni.
This man’s writings and various statements reflect his extreme obsession and love for football which allowed him to become the youngest president of the Southern Football League in Morocco and thus the youngest member of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation in 1979, which allowed him to obtain experience in sports law.
Unfortunately this obsession repeatedly prevented him from accessing the mission of President of the Marrakech Bar Association.
Alaoui Moudni participated in the adventures of the Avocado World Cup in Marrakech as a key player in the team which won the world title in 1983.
What is surprising and relevant is the success of Alaoui Moudni in combining the profession of lawyer and sports management at the Majd, at the Nejm of Marrakech then finally at the football league with the main priority of placing interest clubs at the heart of its concerns so that they play a vital role in fair play and for the development of quality football.
The Marrakech-Safi Regional Football League has become an anthill of talents and skills and exceptional know-how always alert and ready to give its best to offer numerous platforms for the qualifications of players, referees, delegates, coaches and administrators.
Marrakech-Safi Regional League, as well as all its administrative and technical components testify without reservation that President Alaoui Moudni works in collaboration and harmony with the members constituting the various commissions, which has made the Marrakech-Safi Football League a symbol of the modern professional sports management in the service of human development.
Bravo and good luck.
