McLaren. A tribute car to Ayrton Senna for the Monaco GP

30 years have already passed since the death of Ayrton Senna in 1994. To mark this date, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will be at the wheel of an MCL38 decked out in yellow and green during the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend. -end.

McLaren has unveiled a single-seater in homage to the colors of Ayrton Senna’s helmet, created specifically for the Monaco Grand Prix. With six victories in the streets of the Principality, including five for the British team, the “King of Monaco” will be on everyone’s minds this Sunday, May 26. He remains to this day the most successful driver behind the wheel of a McLaren, with 35 victories from 96 Formula 1 Grand Prix starts.

An anniversary livery that could bring luck to Lando Norris, author of a very good start to the 2024 season. Elected “driver of the day” during the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix and winner in Miami, the Briton seems to be the only one in the paddock able to compete with Max Verstappen, undisputed leader of the championship until now.
