The Lioncelles de l’Atlas U17 are set on the dates of their duel (back and forth) for the last round of the 2024 World Cup qualifiers in the category. They will have the advantage of playing the return leg at home.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced this Monday, May 20, via a communicated on its website, the dates of the matches of the last six contenders for the three qualifying places for the Under-17 Women’s World Cup.

These matches will be played in two-way matches. Thus the first round will take place on Friday June 7 and the second on Friday 14 of the same month, specifies the supreme body of African football.

The Lioncelles de l’Atlas, who fell on a big piece that is Zambia, will have the advantage of playing the return match at home.

The duels for the two other qualifying places for the 2024 World Cup will pit Burundi against Kenya and Liberia against Nigeria.

The national team qualified for this final play-off after its victory over its Algerian counterpart with the indisputable score of 8 goals to 0 (4 in the first leg in Berkane and the same number on the return to Algiers).

The 2024 U17 Women’s World Cup is scheduled for October 16 to November 3, in the Dominican Republic.
