The Mavs tie against the Thunder, can we have 7 games please?

After an essential victory for the Cavs in Boston earlier in the evening, the Mavericks were in the same situation and had to make the Thunder doubt. Mission accomplished, the series is at 1-1 and looks incredible!

We clearly predicted it, and this is clearly what is happening: this Playoff series is well on its way to becoming a true classic. Victorious in Game 1, the men of Coach of the Year Mark Daigneault this time did not manage to get the better of a Dallas team which was able to count on unusual reinforcements, at least unforeseen at this level – there of competition. We’re talking about a precise Tim Hardaway Jr. in the second half, and – above all – an intractable and incredible PJ Washington with 29 points and 11 rebounds at 7/11 from the parking lot. Kyrie Irving turned into a conductor (11 assists), Luka Doncic had been hellish at the very start of the match and ended his game on the knees but with a victory and a 29/10/7, it helps to to recover.

Thunder side Shai Gilgesous-Alexander was once again at his level, that of an MVP or close to it, but this time Jalen Williams was not the usual killer in the last quarter. Lulu Dort did the job in defense on Luka, Josh Giddey struggled, in short nothing new apart from this defeat, which does not precipitate anything in terms of conclusions but which will have the merit of shedding even more light on a series which promises, let’s dare, on a series which PROMISES.

A complete match, successful from the Mavs, and a series that starts at 1-1 in Dallas. The rest is for Saturday evening, and we already want to be there so, so much.
