There’s a lot of action happening at the Montreal Canadiens right now as the team faces some important decisions ahead of the first game of its 2024-25 regular season, which is scheduled for Wednesday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs. at the Bell Center.

Earlier today, the Montreal organization confirmed that Joshua Roy et Logan Mailloux headed to to join the Rocket in the AHL.

Several other players will join the school club notably Jakub Dobeswho can certainly leave with his head held high since he was excellent from start to finish. Dobes surprised many Habs fans.

Training camp was particularly difficult for Joshua Roy, who had some rough outings and failed to consistently stand out.

The striker is brimming with talent and we hope he can bounce back quickly. The good news from Laval is that several talented players are coming with the club and the team. Pascal Vincent could be very successful.

As reported by Renaud Lavoie, Martin St. Louis has just commented on the decision to send Logan Mailloux to Laval and the coach threw flowers to his young rear.

« Logan had a great camp. He understands the process we have with him and he is going to have a long career in the league. »
