While he was due to face Ñuñoa, near Santiago, this Friday, Gabriel Suazo will ultimately stay in Toulouse. The Chilean Federation announced the 27-year-old player’s withdrawal on Monday, October 7, citing a “hamstring muscle injury.”

Recently, the former Colo Colo player spoke about the pace imposed by the calendars, which several players have complained about in recent weeks. Last year, Suazo was one of the most used Toulouse players with 54 matches played, between his club and the selection, which also included long trips to South America.

It remains to be seen whether the Chilean will be restored for TFC’s next league match, on Sunday October 20 against Angers. A match for which Aron Dönnum will be suspended for accumulation of yellow cards, and which will therefore raise the question of who will be available to occupy the position of left piston.
