New assistant coach at NUC

The NUC technical staff is now complete for next season. The Neuchâtel volleyball club announced on Wednesday the commitment of Matteo Marongiu. This technician of Italian origin will replace Riccardo Lugli as second assistant, who was also the statistician for the multiple Swiss champions.

After announcing the renewal of the contract of head coach, Lauren Bertolacci, the NUC also confirmed Haley Brigthwell, for whom this will be her fourth season as assistant coach.

Changes are taking place in terms of physical preparation. Quentin Gardet, Jean-Léon Bart and Clavien Kuenzi will now share this task for all the club’s elite teams. In charge of the physical preparation of the League B team for three years, Fabio Vozza is therefore not staying at the NUC. Léonor Guyot will continue his coaching activity, at the head of the Ligue B team. Former coach of Colombier Volley, Alex Prunonosa is taking over the 1st league, while remaining active at junior level. Jonas Schorderet will be responsible for the technical direction of the junior movement. /comm-mne
