OM releases its response for the €4M transfer of a crack player
Published on May 7, 2024 at 7:30 p.m.
For its next summer transfer window, OM is particularly looking for young players with high potential. In this sense, the Marseille leaders would have set their sights on Rayane Messi. Aged only 16, last month he became the youngest scorer in the history of Dijon, who would ask for €4 million to part with him.
On April 12, for his second National match, Rayane Messi became the youngest scorer in the history of Dijon. Coming into play a quarter of an hour from the end of the match, the 16-year-old winger gave his team victory 10 minutes later against Orleans (1-0), for the 29th day of National.
“Even in the best of all worlds, I never imagined experiencing an evening like that”
The previous week, Rayane Messi had played his very first match in National with Dijon : “ Between my entry into play last Friday and my first goal this evening, I had a great week. I’m happy to score my first goal, what’s more, it’s the one that gives victory (…) Even in the best of all worlds, I would never have imagined experiencing an evening like that. I went through completely crazy emotions with this audience chanting my name “, he declared after the meeting.
Dijon asks €4M for Rayane Messi
As indicated by The Team, Rayane Messi should not, however, stay very long Dijon. Indeed, the winger, aged only 16, is already very popular, particularly byOM. Marseille would be one of the clubs interested in the French U17 international, but not under any conditions. THE DFCO would ask for at least €4M to agree to part with Rayane Messiunder contract until June 2025. A sum that theOMas well as other interested groups, would not be willing to spend to secure his services.
