Baseball: the Challenge de France is played at home

Rouen Baseball 76 is organizing the Challenge de France with Chartres from Thursday May 9 to Sunday May 12, 2024. The Saint-Exupéry stadium hosts all the Huskies’ matches, on the way to a first trophy this season.

It is the equivalent of the French Football Cup. The Challenge de France brings together the eight best teams engaged in a competition spanning four intense days. The Huskies start with a shock since they are opposed to the Templiers de Sénart on Thursday, May 9 at 4 p.m. In the event of a victory, they will face the winner of the La Rochelle – Montigny-le-Bretonneux match the next day at 1:30 p.m.

Authors of a mixed start to the season, with five victories for five defeats, the Rouennais will have to raise their level to achieve this first objective of the season. To do this, they can count on elements of great value, like the Japanese recruit Chikara Igami, Esteban Prioul or the Canadian Jean-Christophe Masson.

For spectators, access to the stadium is free and open throughout the competition. The opportunity to admire the brand new Pierre-Rolland synthetic pitch.
