Alessandra Keller won the general classification of the cross-country World Cup for the second time after 2022. Sina Frei, for her part, celebrated her second consecutive victory in the short-track World Cup in Mont-Sainte-Anne, in Canada.

Alessandra Keller’s final success in the general classification of the World Cup was no more than a formality, since she entered this final match with a lead of 322 points over Savilia Blunk, while 330 remained at stake .

The 28-year-old Nidwalden finished the short-track race in 8th place, one place behind the American, which was enough for her happiness. Alessandra Keller thus achieved the double as in 2022, she who won the short-track classification a week earlier in Lake Placid.

Sina Frei glasses

Sina Frei highlighted her dazzling form in Canada at the end of the season. After her triumph in Lake Placid in the short race, she doubled the lead in Mont-Sainte-Anne. Previously, the 27-year-old from Zurich had never triumphed in the World Cup.

Thanks to an acceleration just before the finish, she won with one second ahead of the Frenchwoman Loana Lecomte and two ahead of the British Evie Richards. With Nicole Koller’s 9th place, a third Swiss woman managed to climb into the top-10.
