The general assembly of the Peňa Madridista of Casablanca took place recently in the presence of the majority of members. During this meeting, Larbi Bargach, president of the association, gave a speech in which he gave a summary picture of the Peña’s activities during the past financial year.
After recalling that the Peňa Madridista of Casablanca celebrated its 21st anniversary this month of October, Larbi Bargach underlined that this longevity testifies, if it were necessary, to the seriousness, the commitment and the self-sacrifice of all the components of the association.
The president also indicated that the 2023-2024 season was rich in sporting and charitable activities.
Despite the difficulties encountered during the Covid pandemic, La Peña managed to keep its DNA intact, continued Larbi Bargach. “We have maintained the friendly, family, open and tolerant spirit. This has given us strength and confidence and encouraged our partners to continue to accompany us and support our actions.”
Larbi Bargach then recalled the main events which marked the past season. This is the celebration of the 20th anniversary of La Peña in the presence of Pepe Salguero, former Real player, the meeting with Barça supporters, participation in the solidarity event with the Spanish Charity Society and in the tournament supporters organized every Ramadan by fans of PSG and the famous Orphanages tournament which has reached a great dimension.
The moral and financial reports presented respectively by the secretary general Hicham Alaoui and the treasurer Othmane Najioullah were adopted unanimously.
