Olympique de Marseille: towards the departure of Amine Harit in January?

According to the Team, the Atlas Lion is no longer an indisputable starter in his position as playmaker within the team. A key piece in the Phocéens midfield at the start of the season, Amine Harit is far from unanimous.

“For a while pushed towards the exit this summer, Amine Harit has established himself as the permanent starter in the position of OM playmaker since the start of the season. But the Moroccan international has competition,” writes the sports publication.

OM would even consider parting ways with Amine Harit during the winter transfer window, the sports daily understands. The Moroccan international would no longer feature in the long-term projects of Marseille leaders.

L’Équipe also explains that the departure of the attacking midfielder in January does not constitute a “taboo” subject for the Olympian club. OM is already thinking of finding a way out for him.

Not called up by Walid Regragui for the two matches against the Central African Republic, Amine Harit has only scored one goal and delivered 4 assists in 6 appearances this season. A fairly good record but his last outing against triggered some criticism who are calling for a departure from the attacking midfielder.
