FC Aarau – Xamax M17: 2-0

Xamax M19 – FC Aarau: 0-2

The U15s played a friendly match this weekend against Team Zürich Oberland. Stéphane Rusca’s team was able to develop and gain confidence before the resumption of the championship phase which will take place on May 25.

The U16s traveled to Aarau on Saturday. Favorites against the 12th in the ranking, Michaël Licciardi’s team can blame themselves. Indeed, the U16s led twice to the mark, being caught in the final seconds by an opposing equalizer. This draw result did not allow them to overtake FC Saint-Gall in the standings (4-1 defeat against LS). The U16s are nevertheless qualified to compete in the playoff phase by obtaining 6th place in the final championship ranking.

The U17 team was also involved in Aargau to challenge FC Aarau. Unfortunately, Vittorio Bevilacqua’s team conceded a 2-0 defeat to the Argovians. A quickly conceded goal put the team in a difficult situation, which was amplified with the second Aargau goal, which fell in the 65th minute. The young Red and Black will compete in the playout phase, finishing in 11th place in the final ranking.

The U19s suffered the same fate as their cadets, but this time at home. Indeed, Pascal Vaudequin’s men conceded a 2-0 defeat at La Maladière against FC Aarau. The two opposing goals fell within 3 minutes. The U19s thus conclude their championship in last place in the ranking.
