Holding the trophy, Real Madrid was surprised in the north of France. The Merengue, disappointing in this case, lost 1-0 against Lille on a penalty from David (45th). LOSC has achieved a real feat.
Juve feat
Even reduced to ten after the expulsion of its goalkeeper in the 59th, Juventus found the resources to win 3-2 in Leipzig. Conceicao gave the Italians victory in the 83rd. Sesko and Vlahovic had previously each scored a double.
