Inter Milan celebrated its title of Italian champion, won at the start of the week, with a victory against Torino (2-0) and a parade in the streets of Milan in front of tens of thousands of its fans.
Inter, assured of being crowned for the 20th time in its history since its success (2-1) in the derby against AC Milan on Monday, signed its 28th victory in 34 matches thanks to a double from Hakan Calhanoglu (56th and 60th on penalty).
The Nerazzurri suffered in the first period, with Torino offering themselves the two clearest chances thanks to Colombian Duvan Zapata (15th and 17th).
But the exclusion of Adrien Tameze shortly after the break changed the face of the match: the Cameroonian defender from Torino was excluded for having mowed down just before the penalty area Henrix Mkhitaryan who was racing towards goal.
Inter further increased its lead over its two great rivals, AC Milan and Juventus who neutralized each other 0-0 on Saturday: Milan, 2nd, is 19 points behind and Juve, 3rd, 24 points!
Simone Inzaghi’s team can beat several Serie A records by the end of the season on May 26, including that of the largest gap between a champion and his runner-up (22 pts between Inter and AS Roma in 2006-07)
“We are convinced that this group of players can play at a very high level for a long time to come,” warned Massimiliano Farris, Inzaghi’s deputy.

The match was refereed by an exclusively female trio, formed by Maria Sole Ferrieri Caputi, assisted by Tiziana Trasciatti and Francesca Di Monte, a first in Serie A.
At the end of the match, the new Italian champions took their places in two buses which, surrounded by thousands of unleashed Nerazzurri fans, moved slowly through the streets of Milan.
They should reach the “Duomo”, the cathedral of the Lombard metropolis in the city center, in the early evening.
Bologna, which could come back to the level of Juventus Turin, was held in check at home (1-1) by Udinese, led for the first time by the 2006 world champion Fabio Cannavaro.
Bologna remains 4th (63 pts) and can dream of the Champions League, but remains under threat from AS Rome (5th, 58 pts) and Atalanta (7th, 54 pts and two matches in hand) who face early evening respectively Naples (8th) and Empoli (15th).
Roma records on this occasion the return of its Franco-Ivorian defender Evan Ndicka, victim of illness in the middle of a match on April 14 and authorized to resume competition, the examinations having shown that he did not suffer from any cardiac problem.
