The game
Veteran Zach Parisé opened the scoring in the first period during this act No. 3 which traveled to Denver. It was already a second goal for him in the series. Unfortunately for the Avalanche, this lead would not hold in the second half and Tyler Toffoli was able to equalize before Josh Morrissey gave the Jets the lead.
The third period therefore began with a one-goal lead for the visitors who seemed, at this moment of the match, still perfectly in control of their destiny.
