COL Goals: Parisé, MacKinnon, Nichushkin, Lehkonen, Colton, Toews
WPG Goals: Toffoli, Morrissey

Veteran Zach Parisé opened the scoring in the first period during this act No. 3 which traveled to Denver. It was already a second goal for him in the series. Unfortunately for the Avalanche, this lead would not hold in the second half and Tyler Toffoli was able to equalize before Josh Morrissey gave the Jets the lead.

The third period therefore began with a one-goal lead for the visitors who seemed, at this moment of the match, still perfectly in control of their destiny. But Colorado had not said its last word and completely dominated the last third of the match. Thus, Nathan MacKinnon and Valeri Nichushkin took advantage of numerical advantages to change the score from 1-2 to 3-2 in a little over 2 minutes.

In the midst of turbulence, the Jets were definitely going to hit the ground after Artturi Lehkonen’s 4-2. Ross Colton and Devon Toews further improved the score for a clear final result, 6 to 2.

No points and a record of -1 for Nino Niederreiter. The Grison, aligned for 12’59”, made only one shot.
