Descriptive text here

The LHC lost to the ZSC Lions at the Swiss Life Arena with a score of 3-0. The post-match is presented to you by our main partner, Vaudoise assurances.

Missed opportunities in the first third

In good form, our Lions came out in force from the first seconds of the match. By immediately putting pressure on Simon Hrubec, teammates of Michael Raffle managed to create some very good chances which they unfortunately did not manage to finish. A highlight which could have directly put the LHC on the right track in this Act V.

Despite the rebalancing of the game subsequently, our players did not let their opponents take the lead in front of their audience. A first third without a goal, partly thanks to the numerous saves from the Lausanne goalkeeper, Connor Hughes who was intractable against the Zurich attackers.

Punished in 1 minute

After missed opportunities on both sides in the first third, the match resumed in a false rhythm not allowing the game to accelerate for any team in particular. The tension rose more and more on the ice of the Swiss Life Arena and spaces began to create within the two defenses.

As in the last matches here, the Vaudois players were unfortunately severely punished after reducing the pressure put on the opposing attackers. The ZSC Lions manage to shake Connor Hughes’ net twice just before the second break, putting the LHC in a very bad position in this match.

Unable to come back to the score in the last third, our players finally lost with a score of 3-0 and will have to give everything this Saturday at the Vaudoise Arena to be able to play a decisive Act VII for the title. Thank you for your support tonight and see you Saturday!
