In a very close match, managed to beat (19-13), undefeated since the start of the season.

At the opening of the fourth day of Pro D2, FC Grenoble defeated Dax (19-13) at the Stade des Alpes after a very complicated match. Having been largely beaten by last week (42-19), the Grenoble team have raised their heads and become provisional leaders of Pro D2.

Nothing was easy against the Landais who largely dominated the Isérois with a 0-10 after 16 minutes of play. But two yellow cards will put FC Grenoble back in the match with a try scored by fly-half Sam Davies (half-time, 5-10).

Grenoble at the finish

After half-time, the Dacquois returned to the match but were unable to capitalise on their actions. They were punished at the start of the quarter-hour by a try from Wilfried Hulleu (62nd, 13-13). Max Clément increased the score with two penalties to deprive Dax of the defensive bonus, final score, 19-13.

Thanks to this victory, Grenoble passes its opponent of the evening and becomes provisional leader before the other matches of the day. Dax, who had made 14 changes compared to the victory against , will not take his revenge for the last final phase of pro D2 which had seen Grenoble dominate the match without contest (58-10).
