This season, Vincent Kompany has not had the same success as last season with Burnley.
The coach was, however, able to count on the support of his management throughout the season. The intention is also to continue with him even in the event of a return to the Championship. Both the coach and his leaders want to build in the long term.

In any case, this is the official speech. But certain elements could change the situation. Thus, a significant offer could arrive on the table in the coming weeks. According to the English press, a top club would have made Kompany one of the targets for next season.
Sir Jim Ratclliffe would not be very inclined to continue with Erik ten Hag and the new co-owner of Manchester United would therefore have put Roberto De Zerbi and Vincent Kompany on his short list.
We know that Ratcliffe will partly take care of the sporting management of the club and to allow the Reds to do better than this season, he could therefore make the decision to change coach.
It is difficult to know at the moment whether one of the two coaches mentioned could be interested in the position. As for Kompany, not only did he sign with Burnley but he especially wore the colors of City, where he has the status of club legend. An offer like United’s could be tempting, however.
