The Soudal-Quick Step rider suffered a fall on Sunday during the final stage of the Tour of Britain.
It wasn’t the end he had hoped for. Three-stage winner of the Tour of Britain, Paul Magnier (Soudal-Quick Step), who wore the red jersey in the points classification, was hoping to win a fourth on Sunday. Unfortunately, the 20-year-old Frenchman crashed heavily between Lewestoft and Felixstowe and was forced to abandon the race. The sprinter-puncher was taken to Ipswich Hospital for tests.
