On the eve of the end of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, Dimitri Pavadé has just posted a powerful message on his Instagram account. Silver medalist in Tokyo and 4th in the Paris final of the T64 long jump event (athletes whose movement in the lower part of the leg is moderately limited, or in the absence of a leg), the 35-year-old athlete has opened up about his private life.
“Today I was able to find my way and give meaning to what I accomplish every day: wanting to be the icon of people with disabilities,” he explains first in this message.
