Encumbered by his loft since the beginning of the summer, OM is preparing to empty it of one of its members. Quickly put aside, due to his contractual situation (he will be free on June 30, 2025), his salary and the demands of Roberto De Zerbi, Samuel Gigot (30 years old), who had come to terms with it, was waiting to find the ideal project before leaving his favorite club. This one was, visibly, offered to him by Lazio Rome, where he should find former Olympian comrades, Matteo Guendouzi and Nuno Tavares.
After having declined several offers, whether because of the destination (Trabzonspor offered 3.8M + bonus to OM and a significantly higher salary to the Avignon player) or the promised remuneration, “Mum” is in favour of a departure for Italy. At the time of writing, no agreement had yet been reached. The same goes for the clubs, even if optimism reigns and a positive outcome is hoped for this evening or, at the latest, this Thursday.
