Olympique de Marseille could lose Elye Wahi this winter transfer window. The 22-year-old French strikerwho arrived last summer from Montpellier, is getting very close to a departure. Despite his 3 goals and 1 assist in Ligue 1, he has been overshadowed by Neal Maupay and could revive his career in the Bundesliga at Eintracht Frankfurt, with both clubs being almost agree on a transfer.
Replace Wahi with a big name
Although Robinio Vaz and Jonathan Rowe can help out in attack, OM plans to recruit a new center forward. After having surveyed Bayern Munich for Mathys Tel without success, the Marseillais inquired about a very hot issue of the transfer window: Marcus Rashford. The 27-year-old England international, unwanted at Manchester United since the arrival of Ruben Amorim, is being pushed out. OM would like to attract him on loan until the end of the season, hell of a blow which will require fighting against the European leaders.
Fierce competition for Rashford
Marcus Rashford was cited in the sights of the biggest clubs, including Borussia Dortmund and FC Barcelona. The Germans have made contact with the player while the Blaugranas are said to already have a verbal agreement with the player. A folder very complicated for OM who will not only have to convince Rashford sportingly, but also financially to win against this strong competition.
