This Monday, January 20, Issam Ben Khemis was a guest on the captain's Twitch channel
Cédric Yambéré, in the company of Nassim Ran. With them, they discussed several subjects and in particular the midfielder's career.

I was recruited by Lorient at the age of 17 so I didn't attend a training center. I did the most advanced categories, U19 and CFA (now N2) at the time. I turned pro at Lorient, I made a few appearances in Ligue 1. Afterwards, I headed to England for two years, a nice life experience. Being international, I signed in my country, in Tunisia. I spent two and a half seasons there. After having my little boy, I decided to return to France. I was made to understand that African football is not very recognized in Europe so I struggled a little. I stayed five months without a club, I didn't want to stay in Africa. When I returned to France, I started again in the lower levels, in National 3 at Lège Cap Ferret then in . So, this region is familiar to me (smile), New Aquitaine I'm starting to know a little bit. Then I moved to our neighbors Angoulême and ended up by pure chance this season at the Girondins. I'm very, very happy to be here. »
