Clermont Foot 63 is proud to announce the arrival of Kader Bamba in its ranks. The 30-year-old winger, without a club since the end of his contract with FC Nantes last summer, has signed with the Rouge & Bleu until June 2026.
Trained at Toulouse FC, Kader Bamba had to wait a few years and return to the amateur world before signing his first professional contract with FC Nantes in 2019. He then discovered the joys of Ligue 1, playing 56 matches in 2 seasons, before being loaned to Amiens SC in 21/22 (28 Ligue 2 matches, 2 goals, 7 assists) then half a season at ASSE (14 Ligue 2 matches, 4 goals), where he is coached by a certain Laurent Batlles. He will end his Nantes experience by playing 23 other Ligue 1 matches last season.
An offensive reinforcement of choice
Known for his speed, dribbling and ability to destabilize opposing defenses, Kader Bamba is a versatile winger capable of playing on both flanks. In addition to his technical qualities, he will bring his experience from his 83 Ligue 1 matches: “I’m very happy to sign for Clermont Foot, it’s nice to be back on the pitch. I hope to bring my freshness to the team, my experience and my dribbling skills. I'm happy to find Laurent Batlles again, he's a coach that I appreciate and with whom I had a good feeling when we were both at Saint-Étienne.” adds Kader Bamba.
-Welcome Kader to the Clermont Foot 63 family!
