A summer transfer window turned upside down for goalkeepers

Last summer, under the leadership of Roberto DeZerbil’ABOUT has completely overhauled its workforce with no less than twelve new recruits. No sector was spared, including the guards. Paul Lopezstarter the previous season, was loaned to Géronereplaced by Roll as new number one and De Lange in lining. In this redesign, Blanco found himself relegated to third place.

A complex departure to achieve

Despite this exclusion, Blanco is still under contract with theABOUT. And according to Provencethe Marseille club is now looking an exit door for the Spanish goalkeeper from this winter transfer window. Nevertheless, “this will not be easy given the complexity of the goalkeeper market”underlines the local media. Blanco could thus represent a thorny issue for Pablo Longoria in his desire to downsize the Marseille workforce.

A transfer window of adjustments to come

After massive recruitment last summer, theABOUT now appears to be focusing on more targeted adjustments. Besides the case Blancoother departures are mentioned such as that of François-Régis Mughe. Longoria will have to demonstrate skill to find the right opportunities, the goalkeeper market is not an easy thing in the middle of the season.
