As we told you this Friday (see brief 09:44), Stade Rennais has created a loft with several undesirables in this winter transfer window, notably with the presence of midfielder Albert Grønbæk (23 years old, 16 games and 2 goals in L1 this season). At a press conference, Breton coach Jorge Sampaoli, however, made one clarification: it was the Dane who asked to leave in January.
“The loft? It's a decision by the president, which concerns players who weren't playing and it's linked to the fact that they will soon leave the club. Grønbæk was not at the expected level? It's more of a decision “He expressed his desire to leave, he hasn't really found his place here, he's not happy,” revealed the Argentinian technician.
