New blow for Paris Saint-Germain. For several seasons now, the capital club has sought to buy the Parc des Princes, owned by Paris town hall. However, Anne Hidalgo has still not resigned herself to selling the PSG den. A decision which risks setting the teeth of Nasser al-Khelaïfi, the president of the club, who has already threatened in the past to leave this legendary enclosure if it was not handed over to him. And for these wishes for 2025, the mayor of Paris has once again thrown fuel on the fire on this burning subject.
“We will not sell the Parc des Princes”
While Anne Hidalgo presented her wishes for 2025 this Wednesday, the question of the sale of the Paris Saint-Germain showcase came back to the forefront. A question to which the latter answered shamelessly: “There is one thing we will not do in 2025. At the same time, I did not promise it. No, we will not sell the Parc des Princes.” Words which risk making Nasser al-Khelaïfi angry and which will relaunch the heated debate about a new stadium, outside the capital. However, the mayor of Paris “wishes PSG to stay in Paris.”
