PSG: Barcola to Barça, the huge transfer that makes Al-Khelaïfi scream

PSG carried out a very good operation by completing the arrival of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia for just under 70 million euros. But this arrival raises the question of the future of Bradley Barcola in the capital.

Strong man of Saint-Germain at the start of the season, Bradley Barcola is going through a more difficult period. The 22-year-old striker has not scored since November 9 and has seen his playing time decrease in recent weeks. Put in competition with Désiré Doué, the French international sees a new competitor arrive at his position in January with the signing of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Naples. Enough to worry about Bradley Barcola… but also arouse the desire of several clubs who dream of recruiting him. Among the interested clubs, FC Barcelona is in the lead according to the site El Nacional, which reveals that German coach Hansi Flick dreams of securing the services of the former nugget of Olympique Lyonnais in order to be able to breathe more easily his essential wingers Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.

The idea was validated by Deco, sporting director of the Blaugrana club, who sees in Barcola a player with very high potential and with different qualities from the players already present in the Barça squad. El Nacional is aware, however, that it will be very difficult for the winner of the Spanish Super Cup to finalize the arrival of Bradley Barcola, whether this winter or next summer. And for good reason, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi is very attached to the Blues striker and does not consider for a single second parting with him. Because even if he is currently going through a less prosperous period, the player trained at OL still has the support of everyone at Paris SG, from Luis Enrique to Luis Campos, obviously including Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.

Barça loves Bradley Barcola, but…

The financial situation of FC Barcelona does not encourage optimism either for those who dream of seeing Bradley Barcola at the Camp Nou. A year and a half after paying 50 million euros to snatch him from Olympique Lyonnais, Paris Saint-Germain will certainly not discuss below 60 to 70 million euros for the 1m82 left winger . A sum that Barça will have difficulty paying given the club's difficulties to even register Dani Olmo for the second part of the season. But Catalan interest is very real and will undoubtedly be one to watch next summer, in the event that Barcola fails to revive during the second part of the season at PSG.
