The events took place very late in the morning. Tuesday January 14, an accident between a cyclist and a Breizh Go bus occurred on rue de Châteaugiron, in Rennes.

According to our information, a man in his fifties was hit by the bus. The impact was such that the vehicle's windshield was partially broken.

When the firefighters arrived, the cyclist was in cardio-respiratory arrest. The Smur also intervened. On site, after a period of resuscitation, under a white tent, the man in his fifties was transported to the hospital in absolute emergency.

During the intervention, vehicles heading towards the city center were diverted in the wrong direction.
