On the departure of PSG this winter, Randal Kolo Muani arouses a lot of interest, but two clubs insist in recent days: Juventus Turin of Thiago Motta and Tottenham.
PSG will strengthen its offensive sector this winter with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The transfer of the Georgian winger is almost complete for around 70 million euros plus bonuses and this arrival pushes Randal Kolo Muani a little further towards the exit. The French striker has not played for weeks and must find a new club by the end of the transfer window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, famous Italian journalist specializing in the transfer window, Juventus Turin and Tottenham contacted PSG again on Monday to try to move forward on the signing of Kolo Muani. Manchester United would remain informed of developments in the matter, but must first release Marcus Rashford to move forward on the Parisian striker.
Juventus and Tottenham still in contact with PSG
For the Italian journalist, it is in any case 100% guaranteed that Kolo Muani will leave PSG this winter, but the Parisian club does not intend to rush and insists on its conditions. PSG therefore does not want a dry loan for its attacker and in theory not having to participate in covering his salary in the event of a loan with a purchase option.
If PSG would prefer a permanent transfer this winter, a loan with a purchase option, compulsory or not, seems the most realistic scenario to date. In today's edition, Le Parisien also takes stock of the situation of Kolo Muani and confirms that he is the subject of a lot of pressure from Juventus Turin where the former Parisian Thiago Motta is campaigning for his arrival .
Italian sources consulted by the regional daily even assure that the Old Lady would be “very confident” despite the economic obstacles that stand before it. Le Parisien adds that the latest exchanges between PSG and Juventus concerned a loan with an option to buy, compulsory or not.
-Juve confident, but not sufficiently armed economically?
For its part, L'Equipe assures this Tuesday that Juventus cannot cover the entirety of Kolo Muani's salary, nor assume a loan with an almost obligatory purchase option. Sensitive to the opportunity to join Juventus, the French international is also tempted by other avenues and would see himself in the Premier League where Manchester United is interested, but especially Tottenham.
The sports daily also mentioned on Monday a renewed interest from Dortmund for Kolo Muani and the German club is in the process of selling its winger Donyell Malen to Aston Villa for nearly 30 million euros, including bonuses, but according to the latest reports from the German press, the BvB wants to recruit a pure winger by the end of the transfer window and not a versatile attacker like Rashford or Kolo Muani.
To date, Kolo Muani therefore seems to be heading towards Juventus or the Premier League, but the outcome of the case is not expected soon and the soap opera could still last a little.
