“I still want to dream”, Dupraz “fantasizes” about a PSG-OM battle for the title

In the Grandes Gueules du Sport this Sunday, on RMC, Pascal Dupraz admitted that he still dreamed of a battle between Saint-Germain and Olympique de for the Ligue 1 title, despite the Parisians’ lead .

What if OM finally aimed for the supreme coronation? In his words given to Grandes Gueules du Sport, this Sunday, Pascal Dupraz shared his hopes regarding the fight for the Ligue 1 title between PSG and OM: “I still want to dream until March 16, the date of the return match between PSG and OM”.

For now, PSG dominates the championship with four points ahead of its pursuer. Luis Enrique’s men, who still have a match in hand, are showing their colors: they seem well on their way to retaining their crown. Their next meeting, this Sunday evening against Saint-Étienne at the Parc des Princes, could allow them to increase their lead to seven points, a significant gap, at the end of the 17th day of Ligue 1.

Lots of hope for Marseille

However, some experts, including Pascal Dupraz, believe that Parisians must not relax their vigilance. “Marseille, they are good in their role, they progress with each outing. They show that at home, they can curb the pressure of their formidable public,” underlined the consultant, who hopes to see OM shake up PSG until at the end of the season.

So be careful, at mid-season, Paris is already off to a good start, both in terms of points ahead in the standings and a better goal difference. If, this Sunday evening, Paris Saint-Germain wins against ASSE, the club would still have a big advantage. Despite this, Pascal Dupraz believes that OM, winner in on Saturday (1-2), can tickle Paris.

Pascal Dupraz also declared, at the beginning of September, at Grandes Gueules du Sport that OM had great chances this season: “The abysmal gulf was reduced between OM and PSG during this transfer window. They took players high level. But, the Vélodrome can have an impact on the results If the supporters are patient, Marseille will be unbeatable at home. From the start, Dupraz was optimistic towards the Marseille club.

Despite the crazy atmosphere at the Vélodrome on October 27, PSG firmly beat OM 3-0. Let’s see if Luis Enrique’s men will be able to do the same thing, at home, on March 16. In any case, one thing is certain, Pascal Dupraz, believes in it: “I hope that after the return match I can fantasize about an OM title”. It remains to be seen whether this dream will come true.
