PSG: Is this imminent for this €500M project?

PSG, faced with the refusal of town hall to sell the Parc des Princes, has no other choice but to build a new stadium. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the president of the club, has made this decision and the search for a new location continues. A new track has been born in Ris-Orangis and PSG should make its decision at the very beginning of 2025, for this project which could cost up to €500M.

Ris-Orangis, a boon for PSG?

The advantage for the PSG is the available space, around 100 hectares and above all the immediate availability of the place.

Decision in 2025?

The lease of PSG with the Paris town hall concerning the Parc des Princes runs until 2044. Nasser Al-Khelaifi had also explicitly stated it on the airwaves of RMC : « We need a stadium ready in three or four years. We have no time to lose, otherwise we are behind other clubs in Europe. We need to build as quickly as possible. » For the moment, five places are under discussion: Montigny-le-Bretonneux, , , Aulnay-sous- and therefore Ris-Orangis. As a reminder, the PSG could spend €500M to carry out this XXL project.
