The Marseille criminal court has delivered its verdict in the commissions affair, a scandal involving illegal practices in the world of football, John Valovic-Galtier, adopted son of coach Christophe Galtier, was sentenced according to Foot Mercato to two years of suspended prison sentence. He was accused of various offenses, including organized gang fraud, forgery and use of forgery, illegal exercise of sports agent, complicity and money laundering. In addition to this sentence, he will have to pay a fine of 300,000 euros and faces five years of ineligibility.
Damien Comolli also sentenced
Among the other defendants, Damien Comolli, president of Toulouse FC, was fined 30,000 euros and ineligible for one year. Other figures in the case, including David Venditelli and Jérémie Sutter, received similar sentences with fines and bans from practicing the profession of sports agent for five years.
