the confinement of Vinicius denounced by the president of Rayo Vallecano

Accommodating Rayo Vallecano supporters last Saturday after Real Madrid's draw (3-3) in La Liga, Vinicius was criticized by the president of the opposing club for his attitude.

President of Rayo Vallecano, Raúl Martín Presa did not appreciate Vinicius's harassment. After Real Madrid's Liga draw (3-3) this Saturday on his neighbor's lawn, the Brazilian striker made a gesture with his fingers to make Rayo Vallecano fans understand that their club was going down to the second division this season.

“These attitudes are not appropriate”

At the Cadena Cope microphone this Sunday, Raúl Martín Presa considered that “these attitudes like those of Vinicius are not appropriate”. “At the end of the day, it says to a Rayo supporter 'Go to the second division' while for us, being in La Liga means surviving at all levels,” lamented Rayo boss Vallecano.

Entering the game in the 63rd minute, Vinicius was provoked by the opposing supporters afterwards. They did not hesitate to start chants to make it clear that they were wary of the Brazilian's exaggerations and possible simulations. The latter also protested strongly in the 74th minute, earning him a yellow card.

Raúl Martín Presa fears that sanctions will be taken against his club's fans for their potentially provocative behavior in the eyes of the authorities. For him, the responsibility lies first with Vinicius. “I believe that footballers, ultimately, must be professionals and that these attitudes towards the public in the stands should not happen because it can trigger other things,” concluded the manager.
