FC Nantes feared a total closed session at La Beaujoire after the incidents in the Loire stand against Le Havre, but the LFP disciplinary committee has been quite lenient… for now.
The LFP disciplinary committee did not come down too hard on FC Nantes, after the incidents which led to the interruption of the match against Le Havre on Sunday afternoon. As a reminder, around 80 Loire Brigade supporters came down from the stands and tried to invade the pitch in the middle of the match, incidents which caused the match to be interrupted for a few minutes.
La Beaujoire avoids total closed doors
A total closed session was feared for the reception of Rennes on December 8, but the disciplinary committee of the Professional Football League ultimately did not go that far. Only the Loire stand will be partially closed for the reception of the Breton neighbor. On the other hand, this decision is not final and could become more serious on December 18 following a new meeting of the LFP disciplinary committee, which will rule definitively on the Nantes case.
