Questioned by the communications department of the northern club in a large article which allows us to better understand this discreet but essential character, the one who allows the Dunkirks to maintain an energetic but so effective game expressed his strong attachment to the club for which he has been working for twelve years.
“I am from Amiens, and my first professional club was Amiens SC. But today, I really feel more Dunkirk than Amiens. When I arrived here, the club was at a level equivalent to today's National 2, with fairly basic training conditions. I saw this club struggle, but what remained was this solidarity, this family atmosphere. Everyone helped each other, really a real cohesion which corresponds to the values of the North, which I share deeply. The excess of function, this mutual assistance, is really what struck me here. »

“Over the years, I have seen the club grow, but it has always managed to keep these values. This is what makes me fully relate to it. It's not a glitter club, and that's exactly what I'm looking for. And then, it's now my twelfth season here, so it's not nothing. My family likes it too. I appreciate this club above all for its values. I have experienced strong moments here, incredible emotions: three climbs, narrow holds, notably the last day against Toulouse, or even the spectacular comeback last year. These are exceptional emotions that I have experienced here, these are my most beautiful professional emotions. All in a city and a region where we feel good, where people share the same values. This is why we really feel at home here. »
