RC – OM: Dréossi volleyed back after his controversial exit on refereeing

By suggesting quite clearly that the referee of the match between RC and OM had done his job poorly this Saturday at Bollaert (1-3), Pierre Dréossi attracted some wrath.

Pierre Dréossi has spoken little since his arrival at RC Lens this summer. But when he does, the outings of the general director of the Artesian club show that he does not really have his tongue in his pocket. Angered to see a goal denied to the Sang et Or after Eric Wattellier had requested VAR at the start of the action, he said all the bad things he thought about it in the mixed zone.

“We've had frustration for a while. It repeats itself a little too much. I have the impression that after each contentious action, we call the VAR, he thundered after the match. We can't take points from us and say nothing. Many fouls were not called. The interpretations are often against RC Lens. We're starting to get tired of it. »

“Impossible to be credible after such an outing”

This controversial exit from Dréossi caused a general outcry on social networks and not only among OM supporters. “I know that it is fashionable to attack the refereeing, but it is impossible to be credible after such an outing,” said the Espoirs du account on X, for example.

“They’re sheriffs!” »

Mohamed Toubache-Ter preferred to focus on the contentious action which angered the general director of RC Lens: “The arbitration is catastrophic!!! The referee is in front of the action, how is this possible??? Yes, VAR is useful but how can we use VAR on something so obvious?!! They are sheriffs!!! »
