The meeting this Sunday, November 24 between Nantes and Le Havre was interrupted following excesses in the stands. Nantes supporters threw tennis balls and toilet paper onto the pitch while others tried to enter the field.
It is starting to become a recurring practice among French supporters. Used during several Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 matches on the weekend of November 10, the “tennis ball protest” made its return this Sunday 24 on the lawn of the Beaujoire stadium, in Nantes. With a new variation brought by the Canary supporters: throwing toilet paper rolls!
Incidents which broke out, once again, with the aim of protesting against the leaders of French Football. “LFP, the divorce is complete, you have lost all credibility” we could read on a banner displayed during the five minutes of interruption which followed the events. The match was finally able to resume after a moment of tension between the stewards and the ultras of the Brigade Loire group.

Even before the start of the match, the Nantes supporters were in the mood to protest, as evidenced by this large banner displayed throughout the Loire stand: “From the management to the players, you are only tourists.
