LOSC: Létang in the controversy, he decides…

Olivier Létang, president of LOSC, wanted to clarify his role within the club and respond to recurring criticism regarding his management style.

Asked in After Foot on RMC, Létang refuted accusations of interventionism, in particular the idea that he would impose tactical choices or team compositions. He assured that Bruno Genesio, the coach, benefits from “total freedom” in his work.

If he admits to being present during training and having regular discussions with the staff, these would be limited to subjects such as collective performance and club values. Létang insists on his role as guarantor of 's identity, affirming that he must react when the principles of LOSC, such as the fighting spirit and respect for the jersey, are threatened.

Criticisms concerning his involvement and his media presence, particularly after his public intervention following the draw against (2-2), reflect a debate around his management. Some observers, like Karim Bennani, consider his outings sometimes excessive, but Létang justifies them by his desire to defend the club.

At the heart of this controversy, Olivier Létang maintains his course: he wants to combine high standards, respect for each person's roles, and ambition, to raise LOSC to the top while remaining faithful to its values.
