The FFF decides between Mbappé and PSG, guilty of a gross error?

Kylian Mbappé, 25-year-old striker for the French team, is now at Real Madrid following his departure from Saint-Germain. But everything is not yet settled between the player and the club where he spent 7 years. The French international is in conflict with Paris at the financial level over unpaid bonuses and salaries, while PSG believes that an agreement was reached. This Friday, AFP ensures that the French Federation responded to the club's appeal for the 55 million euros to be paid.

« The request to the FFF Executive Committee was sent a day too late”

“The French Football Federation (FFF) has rejected Paris-SG's request to re-examine the injunction from the Professional Football League (LFP) to pay 55 million euros in unpaid salaries and bonuses to its former player Kylian Mbappé, AFP learned from a source close to the matter this Friday.

The request to the Executive Committee of the FFF was transmitted a day too late by PSG, according to the same source, while the club had ten days to make it from the decision of the joint appeal committee of the LFP in favor of the player. »

We suspect that the verdict is in favor of Mbappé, it would be very surprising if the AFP were wrong on this subject. The same goes for the reason for the refusal, even if it is hard to believe as the error seems enormous on the part of the Parisian club.

Which in any case seems to be getting off to a very bad start in this matter. For the moment, the instances are going in the player's direction and this can easily be defended even if it is unpleasant.

Above all, we would like this to be resolved soon, even if it is likely to last. It is time for PSG to focus only on their season. For Mbappé too it would undoubtedly be good.
