Real heads for a former Lyonnais

Real Madrid is studying the possibility of enlisting a former OL defender.

Real Madrid are aware of the existence of a buyout clause in the contract of RB Leipzig defender Castello Lukeba.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Real and several Premier League clubs are interested in the young French central defender. The famous transfer window guru said:
“The release clause of the new contract signed by Castello Lukeba at RB Leipzig will come into force from the summer of 2025. It is around 90 million euros, but changes from one season to the next. Real Madrid and PL clubs continue to monitor Lukeba's progress for 2025.

Real prospect in the Bundesliga

Lukeba is not the only central defender Real are targeting for the upcoming season. The Madrid club also has its sights set on Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen. But there is competition on this file because the German international is very popular.

To strengthen the flanks, the European champion club would consider Alphonso Davies and Trent Alexander-Arnold. And for the role of attacking midfielder, we're keeping an eye on Florian Wirtz.
