During the next winter transfer window, ASSE plans significant changes. And in particular a wave of departures to skim a squad made up of aging players, who do not fit into the plans of the new project.
ASSE is preparing to turn a page in its history during the next winter transfer window. Committed to a dynamic of reconstruction, the Greens have decided to take drastic measures to reshape their workforce. The objective is clear: to rejuvenate the group and adapt to the requirements of the new sporting project, driven by a desire to return to the top in the medium term. Several experienced players, who no longer meet the expectations of the staff, are invited to find a new base from January.
A wave of departures in sight
Among the departing players, names well known to supporters are on the list. Florian Tardieu, who arrived with the label of a potential executive, was unable to establish himself in the long term. Thomas Monconduit and Anthony Briançon, despite their experience and their investment, also seem to no longer have their place in the club's plans. Finally, Lamine Fomba, whose performances were deemed insufficient, could also leave Forez. These departures would allow ASSE to free up payroll and offer more playing time to the young talents of the training center.
Towards a very big transfer window
Like last season, the winter transfer window will be XXL for ASSE. The sweep prepared by Kilmer Group will be followed by significant recruitment. The workforce will be able to strengthen in quantity and quality. Doubled positions, experience and talent: this is precisely what Olivier Dall'Oglio, the coach, is asking for to ensure the maintenance mission. His wishes should all be granted.
