Yesterday evening, in Milan, Didier Deschamps' French team won with a score of 3-1 against Italy. A success which we owe in particular to the two goals of OM midfielder, Adrien Rabiot.
You had to think about it. And, obviously, there is nothing better than a statistician to refresh your memory, including in the field of football. Because last night, Adrien Rabiot, the midfielder of OM and the Blues, as you know, allowed the French team to beat Italy (3-1) with a double.
What we knew less, due to poor memory…, is that Rabiot succeeded with his winning double header at San Siro, a living legend of our football: Zinédine Zidane. And yes, since the 1998 World Cup final, won by Aimé Jacquet and his men against Brazil, not a player from the French team had scored a double header.
So it's done. And Rabiot, who plays at OM, can say that he is following in the footsteps of a certain Zinédine Zidane.
