After the crazy match against Montpellier (4-4) last weekend, the Greens were traveling to Colomiers this Sunday morning. Quickly trailing (Colomiers 1-0 ASSE, 11th), Frédéric Dugand's players turned the match in their favor. First through Paul Eymard, who after a nice combination on the left side between Sonny Yvars and Ewan Hornech, sent the ball with his head to the back of the net (Colomiers 1-1 ASSE, 19th)
Ten minutes later, Ewan Hornech, again, offers a perfect cross for Issam Cheikh who scores the second goal for Stéphanois (Colomiers 1-2 ASSE, 39e). In the process, Farès Ben Rahem seals the victory for the Greens by taking a corner from Luan Gadegbeku (Colomiers 1-3 ASSE, 55e). Faced with opponents who did not close the game, the Greens held on to return to Forez with the three points.
“We won 3-1, we had a really good match with a vengeful spirit compared to last week. I asked my team to be much more mature and they responded very well, especially in terms of management high and low moments. All the credit goes to them. I'm very happy with what we produced and how we did it.” has commented Frédéric Dugand after the match.
