In front of the press, Arnaud Nordin was questioned about Jean-Louis Gasset and the possible changes made by the new Pailladin coach.
« Obviously, things are different, each coach being different. We work well, and a lot. This is what we needed. I think that over time, he will put things in place to help us off the field and on the field. (…) I knew him in Saint-Étienne. He is a leader of men, who restores confidence, who knows his job very well. The supporters have said it, he is an “international” coach. He has experienced great players, lots of situations, some good and some not so good. For this, it will be very important for this race which will be ours in this championship. (…)
In recent days, he has relied on confidence. Let us realize that, even if things don't go well, we remain good players when we stand together. He reminded us, despite the defeat, of the match in Monaco where we, I think, proved that we were capable of great things. We have to rely on this kind of performance. (…) It’s up to us to be much more regular. It can happen that we are less good one weekend, we remain human. But there is a threshold that must not be crossed. Monaco is proof that we are capable of doing good things.«
