The Girondins de Bordeaux have finally won a match in the National 2 championship. The scapular club was, however, criticized by the coach of Saumur, their opponent for the weekend after the match.

For the media Girondins4Ever, Olive gave her feelings about the presence of Bordeaux at this level of French football: “The people who are there currently, whether it’s the players, the staff, they have absolutely nothing to do with it. They want to restore the image of the club, to bring it back up, so it’s rather honorable. Afterwards, for me it’s an anomaly, they have nothing to do with us. We do not fight with the same weapons. We are struggling and we are very closely monitored. I put myself in their place too, that is to say that we have leaders who are struggling to build a budget to pass the DNCG without a hitch and to exist in National 2. We do not have the means to make federal contracts almost. Opposite, we have a club which is demoted for financial problems and which despite everything, manages to have an extraordinary budget for this level. So obviously… We don’t blame the Girondins, we don’t blame the staff, we don’t blame the people who are trying to rebuild the club, that’s not that at all. But once again, they have nothing to do with us,” he blurted. Bordeaux supporters will appreciate it. It’s up to them to do everything to come back as quickly as possible and dispel the criticism.
