After ASSE, Angers also tries the meeting

On the last day, the Angevins lost at home to Stade de Reims (1-3). In order to stop the negative spiral, Alexandre Dujeux’s players decided to take inspiration from Saint-Étienne and met Monday morning for 1h30 in the locker room, in order to tell each other things.

For the SCO coach, this meeting must make an impression: “It’s a meeting that must be memorable, in the sense that we must use this match to do better. The idea is that it doesn’t happen again.”

The idea for the Scoists is to be more aggressive, starting with the difficult trip that awaits them at the Vélodrome stadium. Zinedine Ferhat, scorer against Reims, delivered the necessary ingredients to do better: “compared to the Reims match, no player received a yellow card. For me, this is not normal. We have to be more aggressive, as a unit, have the same ideas. I also think that we don’t talk not enough. Each of us needs to make an effort, to be more aggressive, in the good sense of the word.”
