The day after the announcement of Antoine Griezmann’s international retirement, it is the turn of another football esthete to hang up his boots, this time for good. While rumors about his upcoming retirement were rife, Andres Iniesta (40 years old) published a video on his social networks leaving no room for doubt: the Spanish magician will officially retire on October 8in reference to his legendary jersey number.

2010 world champion and double winner of the Euro with RojaDon Andrés spent almost his entire career in his training club FC Barcelone, winning all the titles possible and imaginable (4 Champions Leagues and 9 Spanish championships in particular), before joining Vissel Kobe (Japan) then the Emirati club Emirates Club, where he has still been producing some caviars since August 2023.
