Club: Eight matches and already four different broadcasters for PSG

While it will play its eighth match of the season on Tuesday evening (9 p.m.) in London against Arsenal, PSG will already be entitled to its fourth broadcaster on this occasion after DAZN, Canal+ and beIN Sports 1.

There has been a lot of talk about hacking matches since the start of the season and the arrival of DAZN in the French football landscape, but the cutting of PSG matches probably did not help. Tuesday evening, the Parisian club travels to London for the second day of the group stage of the Champions League and will challenge Arsenal at its Emirates Stadium for what will be its eighth official match of the season.

On this occasion, the capital club will already have a fourth different broadcaster! After DAZN for the first five days of Ligue 1, beIN Sports on Friday evening for the sixth, Canal+ for the opening of the Champions League against Girona, it is now Canal+ Foot which will broadcast Arsenal/PSG exclusively. It remains in the Canal group, but via a satellite channel which requires an additional subscription.

If broadcasters wonder why piracy continues to increase, perhaps one day we will have to realize the number of subscriptions required for a fan to follow their team…
